The life of an Enlli Warden

There are patterns to life here, some as obvious as the pattern of the ebb and flow of the tides, others only now manifesting themselves in the middle of our fifth winter. It is the week before Christmas as I write, and we are hoping for an opportunity to cross the Sound to spend the festive season with our families. At the moment, there is only wind forecasted; the only certainty on Enlli is that there will be uncertainty! We might be here on Christmas day!
