Dros y Swnt captures artists experiences on Ynys Enlli, the distillation of their ideas into new work for this exhibition in Storiel.  Through painting, print, sculpture, film, installation, and sound, the artists explore themes of landscape, time, movement, and materiality, drawing from the island’s shifting elements and rhythms.

Some pieces map the land through storytelling and layered mark-making, while others embrace the textures of the island, incorporating found objects—stones, feathers, rusted metal, seaweed, and earth—as part of their creative process. film works immerse visitors in the landscape, sharing ritual and deep dives into the ecosystems. Ynys Enlli has long been a place of pilgrimage, solitude, and transformation. This exhibition invites you to step into the artists’ responses—to watch, to listen, to contemplate and to row your own boat across the sound.
