Come and spend a week with likeminded people on the magical island of Ynys Enlli exploring the ancient craft of basket weaving and enjoying locally sourced and seasonal home cooked vegetarian food by the ‘Little Cooking Pot. Beginners will learn all the basics of round basket techniques, whilst those with some experience can hone their skills.
You will have the opportunity to weave with willow and other natural materials sourced from the island. Spend the mornings weaving and the afternoons exploring the island and the evenings eating and sharing together. Learn new skills, learn about willow and withy management and leave the island with 2-3 of your own handmade baskets and memories to treasure.
Accommodation and Prices
Stay in one of the islands grade 2 listed 1870s farmhouses, and share the living and kitchen space with the group. This is a catered week, all meals included in price. For more information about the accommodation click here.
